Liverpool will hoping for a return to winning ways on Tuesday night when they host Rangers in the UEFA Champions League.
After coming from two goals down to lead 3-2 at the weekend, Liverpool conceded late on to draw 3-3 at Anfield with Brighton in the Premier League, another disappointing performance from the Reds. After a slow start to the season, by their own high standards, Liverpool currently sit ninth in the league after seven games, 11 points adrift of leaders Arsenal already.
Attention now turns to Champions League action for Jurgen Klopp 's side, with Liverpool hosting Scottish side Rangers this evening. Rangers have lost both their opening games in Group A by big margins, potentially a good time for the Reds to rediscover their winning form.

Andrew Robertson is set to miss out again, as seems likely for Ibrahima Konate and Calvin Ramsey, despite the duo returning to training. Curtis Jones, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Caoimhin Kelleher all remain on the sidelines.
So, how could Liverpool perform against Rangers on Tuesday? We used FIFA 23 to try and predict the score.
Liverpool vs Rangers score predicted by simulation
To complete this simulation, we used FIFA 23 and updated the Liverpool squad with the latest injuries and suspensions.
We predict that Klopp's side could set up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Alisson; Gomez, Matip, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Elliott, Fabinho, Milner; Salah, Nunez, Diaz.
We predict that Rangers could set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: McGregor, Tavernier, Goldson, Davies, Barisic; Lundstram, Jack; Tillman, Davis, Kent; Morelos.
Liverpool started on top, controlling possession and sitting deep in Rangers' half. But just 15 minutes in, the Reds fell behind as Alfredo Morelos beat the Reds' high line, with Klopp's side conceding first yet again.
Harvey Elliott lost possession in midfield, allowing John Lundstram to send Morelos towards goal with a long ball. The striker beat Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip's high line to go one-on-one with Alisson, and the Colombian fired into the top corner to put the visitors ahead.
Luis Diaz hit the bar with a long-range effort before Mohamed Salah did the same, but it was Rangers who found the net again just before the break to double their lead and add to the Reds' misery. A one-two inside the box saw Ryan Kent beat Joe Gomez down the left and fire a cross into the box, and it was Steven Davis who beat Joel Matip to the ball to poke home from close range.
Klopp made a triple sub at half-time, with Thiago, Jordan Henderson and Roberto Firmino coming on for Fabinho, Harvey Elliott and James Milner, switching formation to 4-2-3-1. It seemed to help, with Darwin Nunez pulling a goal back with 30 minutes to go.
Luis Diaz and Firmino linked up well to drive forward down the left before the former played Kostas Tsimikas in behind on the overlap. The defender drilled a ball into the box where Nunez was on hand to slide home, halving the deficit.
The Reds were struggling to create many chances against the visitors, with Rangers' tight defence hard to break down. But, a stroke of luck fell Liverpool's way, and the Reds made it 2-2 with 12 minutes remaining.
After going short from the corner, Diaz charged towards the box, beating two men as he opened his body up to shoot from distance. But, the Colombian played a reverse pass into the path of Nunez instead, with the striker now having a clear sight of goal.
The Uruguayan's shot hit a Rangers defender and flew into the net to make it 2-2. Neither side were able to find a winner, with Liverpool having to settle for a point.
FIFA 23 predicts: Liverpool 2-2 Rangers
Here are the full-time stats.
FIFA 23 predicts that another poor first-half display could cost Liverpool, with the Reds having to fight back from two goals down to earn a point against Rangers. But the good news is that simulation suggests that Klopp's side have got the firepower to score at least a few goals, so if they start well and keep it tight, a good result is well within reach.
