We simulated Everton vs Tottenham to get a Premier League score prediction

Tottenham take part in their first game since the departure of Antonio Conte when they take on Everton in the Premier League tonight.

After his outburst following Spurs' 3-3 draw against Southampton, Conte was relieved of his duties as Spurs manager with 10 Premier League games to go. The likes of Mauricio Pochettino and Julian Naglesmann have both been linked with the job, but for now, Christian Stellini and Ryan Mason will take charge of the squad.

Following Newcastle United's 2-0 win over Manchester United yesterday, Spurs dropped to fifth in the table, but victory tonight will move the Lilywhites to third in the table. Spurs have won two and drawn once in their last three league games against Everton, keeping three clean sheets in that time.

So, could Spurs pick up a big three points against Everton tonight? Let's take a look.

Everton vs Spurs score predicted by simulation

To complete this simulation, we used FIFA 23 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.

We predict that the hosts could set up in a 4-5-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Pickford; Coleman, Keane, Tarkowski, Godfrey; Iwobi, Doucoure, Gueye, Onana, McNeil; Gray.

We predict that Spurs could line up in a 3-4-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Forster; Romero, Dier, Lenglet; Porro, Skipp, Hojbjerg, Perisic; Kulusevski, Kane, Son.

Spurs saw more of the ball and had more shots in the first half at Goodison Park, though it was Everton who came closest to scoring, with Alex Iwobi and Demari Gray both coming close for the hosts. Dejan Kulusevski missed a great chance to put Spurs ahead after the break, and moments later, Everton took the lead.

Alex Iwobi made it 1-0 to Everton (EA SPORTS)

Spurs were caught flat-footed at the back, with Iwobi getting in behind Ivan Perisic to break into the box. The former Arsenal man curled his shot around Fraser Forster and onto the post, but he was quickest to react to the rebound and tap into the net from a yard out.

After Everton went ahead, they became tough to break down as they sat deep and absorbed any pressure from Spurs. But, an error at the back allowed Harry Kane to draw level with 12 minutes remaining.

Harry Kane made it 1-1 (EA SPORTS)

As Heung-Min Son ran across the defence looking for a way through, and a slip from James Tarkowski opened up a gap in the Everton backline, allowing Son to find Kane with a through ball. The striker took the ball in his stride before firing past the 'keeper from close range to make it 1-1.

With 10 minutes to go, Spurs opted to go for the victory, pushing plenty of bodies forward to try and find a winner. This left them exposed at the back, and Everton were able to make it 2-1 in the 91st minute to snatch victory away from Stellini's side.

Neil Maupay made it 2-1 to Everton (EA SPORTS FIFA)

Pedro Porro's attempted one-two with Oliver Skipp was cut out by Ben Godfrey near the halfway line, allowing the Toffees to advance in numbers. Godfrey found Vitalii Mykolenyko on the left who picked out Neil Maupay in the middle, and unmarked, the Frenchman tapped into the empty net to win the game for the hosts.

FIFA 23 predicted score: Everton 2-1 Spurs

FIFA 23 predicts that Spurs could be dealt another huge blow in their race for a top-four spot, losing 2-1 away to Everton in the simulation. Since Sean Dyche's arrival, the Toffees have won three and lost one at home whilst Spurs haven't won in their last three away games, with the sim predicting the Lilywhites' poor record will continue tonight.
