Liverpool visit the south Coast on Saturday as they look to continue their push for a top-four spot with victory Bournemouth.
The incredible 7-0 battering of Manchester United will send the Reds into the clash with Cherries in high spirits, but so will their overall current form. Four wins, one draw and five clean sheets in their last five Premier League games have seen Jurgen Klopp's side surge up the table, now sitting just three points behind fourth place with a game in hand.
Victory for Liverpool will move them above Tottenham Hotspur into the top four. Standing in their way is a Bournemouth side who were hammered 9-0 in the reverse fixture earlier this season and who have lost their last seven meetings with the Reds.
So can Liverpool come out on top again? Let's take a look.
Bournemouth vs Liverpool score predicted by simulation
To complete this simulation, we used FIFA 23 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.
We predict that Bournemouth could set up in a 5-4-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Neto; Smith, Mepham, Stephens, Sensei, Zemura; Ouattara, Lerma, Billing, Traore; Solanke.
We predict that Liverpool could line up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Bajcetic; Salah, Gakpo, Nunez.
On the high of their thrashing of Man United, Liverpool started the game on top, creating plenty of chances and controlling possession. Mohamed Salah struck the post after six minutes with a volley from Andrew Robertson's cross, but the lead was eventually found by Cody Gakpo 21 minutes in.
On the shoulder of the last man, Gakpo was making himself a nuisance, with his movement causing trouble for the hosts. A turnover in possession saw Jordan Henderson win back the ball and fizz a pass forward into the path of the Dutchman.
One-on-one with the goalkeeper, Gakpo entered the box before sending an effort towards goal, and his shot was placed perfectly into the top corner to put the Reds ahead.
The pressure continued and a stroke of fortune saw the visitors go two goals in front just before the break.
Camped around the Bournemouth box, Stefan Bajcetic tried his luck from his range, but his shot was blasted into a sea of defenders, ricocheting into space on the right. Unmarked, Darwin Nunez was the quickest to react, and the striker pounced on the loose ball before firing across goal for Liverpool's second of the afternoon.
Despite rarely finding themselves in the Reds box, Bournemouth ended their opponents' run of clean sheets in the 88th minute through Dominic Solanke. The forward tapped home against his old club to set up a tense end to the game, but Liverpool held on to the 2-1 lead to pick up a huge win.
FIFA 23 predicted score: Bournemouth 1-2 Liverpool
Here are the full-time match stats:
FIFA 23 predicts that Liverpool could claim an important three points, beating Bournemouth 2-1 in the simulation. A fantastic first-half display put the Reds two goals ahead, but a late Cherries goal set up a nervy ending to the clash on the south coast.
