MUMBAI: New Zealand skipper Tom Latham said on Thursday that the World Test Championship has given a context to Tests because of which we are seeing more result-oriented games. While New Zealand have sealed the series 2-0, the 12 points that teams will earn if they go on to win the third Test means the interest in the Wankhede Stadium game hasn't waned.
"The context (WTC) has put on Test cricket rather than the bilateral series has been fantastic. We've probably seen a few more results in terms of games that have been played, certainly over the last period," said Latham as New Zealand looked to whitewash India.
