"They used the bigger car to smash the shop before a few of them went in, but they drove off in another car, it was all very quick. It was mad it happening in broad daylight when it's always so busy around here. But nothing is really a surprise around here anymore."

A neighbouring shop worker said: "It happened very quickly. We just heard banging and shouting and everyone ran outside and was filming it. I feel very bad for the workers there it must have been scary."

The road was closed for more than three hours with public transport and other traffic having to divert, opening around 5pm.
