'We have tried to land a deal through good faith bargaining': coal loader workers ramp up industrial action

Waterfront and electrical workers at Newcastle Coal Infrastructure Group (NCIG) have vowed to continue industrial action as they pursue a claim for improved wages and conditions.

Maritime Union of Australia (MUA) members rallied outside the Kooragang coal terminal on Tuesday, while a skeleton workforce kept the terminal running.
