Today is National Tea Day and as a result tea lovers around the country are looking forward to heading out on an afternoon tea at their favourite tea house or hotel, or they're celebrating the big day at home under a blanket with their everyday cuppa.
Tea has made itself a solid staple in country after first being introduced to England in the 17th century, but one thing that seems to keep any audience divided is what is the best tea you can have?
Most households seem to have a strong opinion on what is the absolute best teabag on the market and they won't hesitate to tell you you're wrong if you make them a cup with the wrong one.
We sent in our resident tea expert to find out what the best ten teas on the market are and there's something for everyone - even those who forgo milk and caffeine.
Last year we had three of our most passionate lovers make a case over on the Manchester Evening News on what is the very best daily cup of tea is.
Jada Jones insisted that it was Twinings Vanilla Tea (International Blend) paired with Orange Blossom Honey, saying: "The touch of vanilla is subtle but notably there, adding a sweetness completely unlike sugar. It doesn't taste like you've dunked ice cream in your cuppa, instead it has an elegant and indulgent hit that you can have anytime of day.
"I think it pairs perfectly with some biscuits and controversially take it without milk, quite frankly I think pouring in milk ruins the delicate taste.
"I brew it for four minutes, timing it every time and if I'm feeling like an extra treat I add in some honey (only orange blossom honey, otherwise known as the only honey worth having)."
Narin Flanders however was all about PG Tips, insisting she even takes it on holiday with her. Narin said: "I won't drink tea when I go out to cafes or restaurants because I know it's not going to be as good as the brew I can make myself at home and it's much easier to drink bad coffee than it is bad tea.
"It's even the perfect flavour and strength to dunk a digestive in. What more could you possibly want? It's perfection in a mug."
