In order to cope with the cost of living crisis, people have been moving away from branded items in the shops in order to buy value range or own brand alternatives.
Businesses in Belfast have reported that food inflation has risen to around 20%, with essential items in the shops continuing to increase in price, putting further pressure on people's budgets.
