This month we are asking you to send us the cutest photos of your cats.
It's for our monthly Mersey Snaps photo competition, and at the end of the month we'll be opening entries for our readers to vote which they think is cutest. Then, once all the votes are in, we'll announce the winner and one of your cats will be crowned the winner.
The competition is still open and we've had hundreds of submissions so far, and probably all of them are cute enough to take the top spot. Yet, only one can be crowned winner, so we thought it'd be good to share some of the cutest cats we've had sent in by our readers so far.

You can still submit your cat or kitten to potentially be crowned winner of our May edition of Mersey Snaps. The winning cat, or photo, will be showcased across the ECHO, and will be featured in print and will also take centre stage on our Facebook and Twitter pages for our huge audience to adore.
The winner will be voted for by readers with the cat receiving the most votes taking May's crown.
You have until Monday, May 22 to submit your photo. The winner will then be announced at the end of the month.
