Loads of people suggested Barafundle Bay as the best day out in the sunshine, while others simply said "west is best". There were countless responses for Porthcawl and Barry Island, spots which are typically popular with tourists too. Some people were more specific.
Kathryn Kelly said: "Poppit sands. Love it, such a lovely long beach, where you get to see seals and occasional dolphins." Chelsea George said: "Driving down past Tal y Llyn lake with the sunshine beaming today. So proud to live in such a gorgeous country."
Anthony Hughes said: "Bala lake hands down - nothing beats an ice cream down by the lake on a sunny day." Eileen Hayes said: "Swansea Bay. Sweeping views across to Devon, a great strandline to poke about in, cafés to quench your thirst in, two piers (the west pier and Mumbles pier) to stroll on. 8kms of heaven."
The Welsh coastline is well-known for having some of the most beautiful beaches in the UK. One beach in Tenby was last year named as one of the most beautiful in the world.

And our favourite comment, from Richard Whelan, said: "Anywhere, our home is beautiful in every way." We agree, Richard.
