The RMT has given a bleak assessment of a “peace summit” with Transport for London that was designed to avert further Tube strikes.

The meeting took place on Wednesday between union and TfL negotiators in the wake of five days of industrial action by RMT members last week, which caused widespread travel disruption for millions of travellers.
