Wayne Rooney has shared an adorable snap of himself and wife Coleen as she visited him in Washington for a "great week".
The former Everton FC star looked thrilled to be spending time with his wife, as they are often apart due to his job coaching Major League Soccer club DC United in the United States.
Unlike his first spell in the USA, Coleen and their sons, Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass, have stayed at home in Cheshire after struggling to settle in 2018. That said, Wayne and Coleen, both 36 who have been together since they were 16, are said to be “closer than ever”.

Sharing a selfie of himself and Coleen on Instagram Wayne simply said: "Great week with @coleen_rooney". The post was tagged as being in Washington DC.
In the photo, both can be seen wearing huge smiles for the camera. While there is a clear blue sky, it looks to be cold as both are wrapped up in coats.
Fans were clearly loving the update, with many taking to the comments section. Jeanette said: "Lovely photo of the both of you enjoy yourselves xx"
Felipao said: "Beautiful couple", while Mike said: "Nice pic, Mr & Mrs Rooney", and Theresa said: "What a lovely photo".
