Wayne Rooney has admitted it would be a 'dream' to one day be named manager of Everton or Manchester United.
The Premier League legend has been the manager of MLS club DC United since 2022 as he looks to build his reputation in the managerial game.
Rooney came through the youth system at Everton before leaving to sign for United in 2004. He stayed at Old Trafford for 13 years and became the all-time leading scorer.

He'd return to Goodison Park for one season in 2017, scoring 11 goals in his second spell at the club to take his total to 28, before moving to the United States.
The ex-England captain is still 'gaining experience' as a manager ahead of a 'dream' move to one of the two Premier League clubs he represented.
"Everton and United are the two clubs who are really close to my heart so to manage one of them would be a dream," Rooney said via Across the Park Podcast.
"I’m still gaining a lot of experience from what I’m doing. You want to learn and I'd want to go into Everton or United and be able to give the best version of me.”
