Wayne Rooney has been handed a warning by the FA for an incident in Manchester United's match against Chelsea in 2006.

Ahead of the release of the 'Rooney' documentary on Amazon, the United legend revealed he changed his studs to 'long metal ones' for the Reds' match at Chelsea in April 2006 with the intention to 'hurt someone' at Stamford Bridge.

Rooney admitted he 'went looking' for John Terry and the former centre-back has recently joked about the incident.
