Wayne Rooney has been reunited with former Manchester United misfit Ravel Morrison with the midfielder penning a contract with DC United.
The Red Devils’ icon made his return to the MLS outfit earlier this month having been confirmed as the club’s head coach following his exit from Derby County. Having already signed Miguel Berry, Rooney has followed that up with the addition of Morrison who joins on a free transfer.
His deal in the US is set to run through until the end of the 2023 season, with the club retaining an option to extend that for a further year. Lucy Rushton, D.C.
