According to a source from ESPN, former England and Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has been in talks with a boxing promoter about potentially stepping into the boxing ring for one of their future events. While no concrete details have been finalized, Rooney, who is currently 38 years old, and his team have discussed the possibility of him participating in a Misfits Boxing promotion.
Misfits Boxing has recently gained attention for hosting boxing shows featuring unconventional matchups, including YouTube stars KSI and Logan Paul, millionaire businessman Joe Fournier, reality TV star Idris Virgo, and social media influencer Alaena Vampira. If Rooney agrees to the terms, he would join the ranks of crossover athletes who have participated in Misfits' unique boxing series.
