NEW DELHI: England captain Ben Stokes on Monday said he had full confidence and belief in his batters' capability to pursue the formidable target of 399 against India on a challenging Visakhapatnam pitch during the second Test, despite suffering a 106-run defeat as the scoreboard pressure often brings out the best in his team.
Even in loss, England adhered to their aggressive 'Bazball' approach throughout the chase. But, with the exception of Zak Crawley, who scored 73, the visiting batsmen struggled to capitalize on their starts and convert them into substantial scores.
