Waterparks change name of song after it is misspelt on fan’s tattoo

The American pop-punk band has agreed to change the name of one of their songs after a fan accidentally had a tattoo of the song’s title misspelt.

Waterparks fan named Clancy recently got a tattoo of the band’s song ‘See You In The Future.’

However, Clancy’s tattoo artist completely botched the inking and instead tattooed on her arm “SEE YOU IN IN THE FUTURE.”

Clancy shared the embarassing tattoo on Twitter tagging the band and their lead singer Awsten Knight in the hopes of grabbing their attention.

Lo and behold it worked and not only did Knight respond he announced that the band was changing the name of the song in solidarity with Clancy.

When replying to the tweet Knight wrote: ‘HEY I SAW YOUR TATTOO AND FIGURED THE LEAST WE CAN DO IS CHANGE THE SONG TITLE FOR U.’

Knight also shared a Spotify link to the song and it is now called “See You In In The Future.”

A stunned Clancy said in response: Thank you so much, I really appreciate you! You are so sweet.

Knight also confirmed the news on TikTok.

The tattoo and the fact that the songs name was changed has since gone viral and many people are simply stunned at how kind and thoughtful the act was.

You love to see it. We just hope that some other tattoo fails can get fixed like this in the future.
