The Kansas City Chiefs selected Xavier Worthy in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft to help revitalize their offense, which saw its wide receivers struggle last season.
Though second-year wideout Rashee Rice will likely top Kansas City’s depth chart at the position, Worthy’s addition is expected to add elite speed to the Chiefs’ receiving corps and give quarterback Patrick Mahomes another exciting option to target in the passing game.
As training camp nears the end of its third week, the Texas product is starting to settle in during the team’s recent practice sessions and was seen catching a long pass from Mahomes during drills on Thursday.
Take a look at Worthy’s latest highlight from St. Joseph, which was featured by the Chiefs’ official Twitter account:

Worthy, who ran the fastest 40-yard dash in NFL combine history back in March, is poised to be one of the league’s most dynamic deep threats if he can replicate his training camp performances during the regular season.
