Watch: When Rohit Sharma turned reporter in Ajinkya Rahane's press conference

NEW DELHI: Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane go back a long way. Both belong to Mumbai and have played loads of matches together both in domestic cricket and international cricket as well.

Rahane is back as vice-captain of the Indian team led by Rohit for the two-Test series against the West Indies and the camaraderie that the two share was visible when Rohit asked a few questions in Rahane's press conference.

The video was shared by BCCI:

In the video Rohit asks Rahane about his experience of playing in the West Indies and how he (Rahane) would guide the youngsters.

Rahane quite seriously replies that he would advice the youngsters to keep patience when they are batting in the middle.

Rohit continues to ask that in a chilled out atmosphere in the West Indies how can cricketers keep focus on the job at hand?

Rahane replies that the country that hosts us (cricketers) we should stay like them and we should focus on the ground, not when they are off the ground.

The conversation is broken by a sudden spell of rain as both Rohit and Rahane, and other reporters, rush back to shelter.

The two-Test series starts from July 12.
