As massive as Ohio State football’s win over Penn State was last weekend, it’ll mean little if the Buckeyes can’t take care of business on the road vs. Wisconsin this weekend. The Badgers are no longer ranked after suffering two losses, but it’s never a walk through the roses to go into Madison and win in Camp Randall at night.
But that’s exactly what Ohio State is tasked with this week. On top of that, they are going against a former OSU player and coach, now wearing the big, slanted W as head coach of Wisconsin, Luke Fickell.
So yeah, there are some storylines in this one and Fickell knows it as well. In fact, he met with the media in his weekly press conference in Madison to preview the matchup with the No. 3 ranked Buckeyes and touched on what it means for his team to play Ohio State.
We’ve got the entire press conference for you to take in and digest thanks to 247Sports’ Evan Flood. In it, you can hear Fickell talk about his time at Ohio State, what he sees from the Buckeyes this year, how backup quarterback Braedyn Lock has played taking over for the injured starter, Tanner Mordecai, and much more.
Ohio State and Wisconsin are set to kick things off at 7:30 p.m., so there’s a night affair on tap for one of the few times this year. We’ll have extensive coverage leading up to, during, and after the game so stay with Buckeyes Wire throughout.
