NEW DELHI: India skipper Rohit Sharma had a surprise visit by a Virat Kohli fan on the opening day of the first Test against England in Hyderabad.
The incident took place during the India innings, when a pitch invader rushed to the middle after breaching security and was seen shaking hands and touching the feet of the India skipper.
The invader was seen wearing a Kohli jersey as he had a precious fan moment with Rohit at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
Rohit politely greeted the fan before the security personnel rushed to the middle and escorted the invader out of the playing field.
Earlier India spinners ruled Day 1 of the opening Test as England skittled out for 246 in their first innings.
Rohit departed for 24 in the final session on the opening day.
