A fresh 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck 7 km north of La Tronosa in Panama, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported, following a powerful quake that shook the country's southern coast on Friday. The earlier tremor sent people rushing out of shopping malls and buildings as the ground shook, while videos circulating on social media showed a television broadcast being interrupted and residents fleeing to safety.
