The Jacksonville Jaguars were on the verge of extending an 11-10 lead in the second quarter, but a Travis Etienne fumble ended that opportunity.
Etienne, 23, scored his first career touchdown earlier in the game and broke free for what looked like it had a chance at being his second of the game. Instead, the ball was knocked out by Giant safety Xavier McKinney and recovered by fellow defensive back Julian Love.

The fumble from Etienne came just one play after Trevor Lawrence missed Zay Jones on what should’ve been an easy 17-yard touchdown reception.

Jacksonville has, at times this season, shown a tendency to rack up yardage but fail to capitalize on opportunities to turn long drives into points. The turnover for the Jaguars late in the first half set up the Giants with the chance to drive the field and take a 13-11 lead into halftime.
Etienne now has three fumbles this season.
