Michigan State basketball was part of a really cool event on Sunday afternoon.
The Spartans traveled to Tom Izzo’s alma mater on Sunday and picked up a comfortable exhibition win over Northern Michigan. The Spartans led the whole way, with a final score of 70-53.
Michigan State led the entire way, with the Spartans only holding a narrow 12-point margin at halftime. However, Michigan State turned it up in the second half to build a comfortable lead they carried into the final stretch.
Michigan State was led in scoring by Jace Richardson, who dropped 11 points. Xavier Booker was also in double figures for points, with 10 points in the win.
