Tennessee Titans general manager Jon Robinson isn’t usually one to show a lot of emotion in any way, but he did so during his 2022 NFL Combine press conference on Wednesday.
When asked about what he could have done better last year, Robinson teared up, paused, and then talked about the trust ownership has in him, and also mentioned the fans.
On top of that, he reflected on how exciting things were and could have been if the Titans had continued their playoff run beyond the divisional round.
“That’s what keeps me up at night,” Robinson replied when asked about what he can do better before pausing to fight back tears. “The trust that ownership has put in me, our fans, and… I mean, that stadium is rocking now. And you can only imagine what it would have been like the next week. So, pretty long list of stuff that I’ve got to be better at.”

To us, Robinson’s reaction says two things:
1. He cares deeply about the Titans and winning.
2. Tennessee’s 2021 season ending the way it did clearly hit him hard, as it did fans.
After seeing this, it only cements the idea that Robinson is the right man for this job and he’s going to continue to do everything in his power to bring a Super Bowl to this franchise.
We liked Robinson before this, but now we’d run through a wall for him.
