Sooner or later, you knew Nico Collins was going to get his.
Absent for the past two games, Collins entered Week 10 with 18 catches for 305 yards. However, the second-year wideout had yet to record a touchdown for the Houston Texans.
Box checked.
The former third-rounder from Michigan caught a 12-yard fade from quarterback Davis Mills in the third quarter against the New York Giants Sunday afternoon in Week 10 at MetLife Stadium.
The scoring catch, along with ensuing extra point, pulled the Texans within four points of the Giants, 14-10.
Collins produced one touchdown catch for Houston last year through 14 games as a rookie, eight of which he started.
