The swashbuckling batsman slammed a 17-ball half-century as Mumbai Indians beat RCB by 7 wickets. Surya's knock was studded with 4 sixes and 5 fours and his form will play a crucial role in his team's progress in the IPL.

On Saturday, the official X handle of the Mumbai Indians shared a video of Suryakumar doing batting practice in the nets with a small camera placed on the off-side just behind the batsman.

As Suryakumar braces himself to play a short ball, he stays on the backfoot and cuts the delivery defensively and sure enough, the ball hits the camera and breaks it.

On the field, the ball would have gently rolled to the fielder stationed at backward point.

Known for his aggressive batting style and ability to score quick runs in crucial situations, Suryakumar has been consistent with the bat, playing crucial innings and contributing significantly to MI's success in the IPL.

Suryakumar's versatility as a batsman allows him to adapt to different match situations, making him a valuable asset for the team.

With 2 wins in 5 matches, Mumbai Indians are at the seventh spot in the points table and next play Chennai Super Kings in a marquee clash at the Wankhede on Sunday.
