During the Golden State Warriors’ run to the 2022 NBA title, Steph Curry’s “night night” celebration quickly became a signature. As the Warriors eliminated teams throughout the playoffs, the night night quickly became Curry’s go-to celebration. However, with the Warriors’ slow start to the 2022-23 season, the celebration has been quiet.
On Friday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers, the reigning NBA Finals Most Valuable Player broke out the celebration.
With the Warriors trailing at the start of the fourth quarter, Curry tallied 15 points in the final frame to secure a comeback win over the Cavaliers at San Francisco’s Chase Center.
After hitting the game-tying shot and the go-ahead jumper to give the Warriors the lead with time ticking away, Curry drilled a dagger 3-pointer to extend Golden State’s lead in the final stretch of the game.
Following Curry’s long ball, he dropped the night night celebration in front of a raucous crowd at San Francisco’s Chase Center.
