NEW DELHI: Wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant made a fine comeback in the competitive arena, after a 14-month hiatus due to a near-fatal car accident, as Delhi Capitals skipper came up with an amazing piece of glove work to dismiss Punjab Kings' Jitesh Sharma during the IPL match in Mullanpur, Chandigarh on Saturday.
Pant displayed remarkable sharpness behind the stumps, particularly evident in his adept keeping to left-arm chinaman Kuldeep Yadav. However, the highlight of the day came when Pant exhibited lightning-fast reflexes while dislodging the bails in an attempt to stump Jitesh Sharma.
