Sean McVay is always an animated coach on the sidelines for the Los Angeles Rams and Sunday’s lopsided win over the Denver Broncos wasn’t an exception. While the Rams cruised to a victory over the Broncos at home on Christmas, McVay was mic’d up during the game.

Throughout Sunday’s contest versus the Broncos, McVay witnessed the defense of the Rams come away with four takeaways. McVay was clearly impressed with Cobie Durant, who finished with two interceptions, including an 85-yard pick-six that caught the attention of his head coach.
Besides the defense, McVay was excited to see Cam Akers have his best performance of the 2022 season on Sunday. Akers carried the ball 23 times for 118 yards and three touchdowns en route to the Rams defeating the Broncos 51-14.
In a game where the Rams controlled the momentum from the opening kickoff, one of the only hiccups was a failed challenge from McVay. McVay was mic’d up during the challenge and he was certainly surprised that the Rams weren’t awarded the ball on a play where Greg Dulcich lost the ball after going to the ground.
Despite the injury woes and struggles this season, McVay continues to coach with a positive attitude each week.
