It’s good to see Sean McVay in the locker room giving victory speeches to his players again. Following the Rams’ two-game losing streak, he didn’t have much to be excited about. In fact, he was visibly and vocally frustrated by the Rams’ struggles, particularly on offense.
But the team got back on track Sunday when they beat the Panthers at home, 24-10. McVay and the rest of the Rams likely breathed a sigh of relief, getting to .500 before their Week 7 bye.
The Rams shared McVay’s victory speech on Twitter after their win at SoFi Stadium, loving the way the team responded to adversity.
“The one thing I was most proud of what you guys did today was when we hit that adversity, when we ended up allowing them to get that 10-7 lead, I could sense it more from you guys as players than anything else, just stay in the moment,” he said.
McVay then proceeded to hand out game balls to five members of the offensive line: Rob Havenstein, Bobby Evans, Jeremiah Kolone, Alaric Jackson and Oday Aboushi. Given the circumstances with Joe Noteboom going down, the line played well against Carolina.
