Who's the first Saints player off the board in your @ESPNFantasy Football Draft? 🤔 pic.twitter.com/6Dd8fq1tES

The NFL season is officially less than a week away, which means it’s prime time to have your fantasy football draft. In the fantasy football spirit, the New Orleans Saints social media asked Saints players which of their teammates they’d draft first.
Derek Carr played it safe and said he’d pick any of his weapons. Wouldn’t want to show any favoritism, would you? Other players didn’t have to worry about that.
The most popular selections were Alvin Kamara and Rashid Shaheed with two votes. Though Shaheed cheated by selecting himself, we’ll count it today. Shaheed’s running mate Chris Olave also received a vote.
Olave himself voted for Kamara. It’s between Kamara and Olave as the best fantasy options on the team. This offense is meant to do two things. Ease things for Carr and turn back the clock on Kamara. Kamara will be the lead back in a system known for getting the best out of running backs. It’s hard not to like his stock in fantasy football.
In a points per reception league, Olave would be a good option. If the preseason is any indication, Carr is going to prioritize targeting the third-year receiver.
