This weekend was a tough one for the Ohio State football program. There’s no way around it, the Buckeyes lost a young guy that left quite the impression and legacy at OSU when Dwayne Haskins passed away after being fatally struck by a dump truck Saturday morning.
On Monday, head coach Ryan Day met with the media to remember Haskins and to answer questions about his relationship and the time spent within the Buckeye program.
In case you missed any of it, we’ve got all that he said and remembered about a guy that was an “old soul” and had compassion for others. Click on the below thanks to the Ohio State Facebook page and listen to Day talk about his first impressions of Haskins, the talent he had throwing the ball, how he was always thinking of others, and more.
We’ll continue to have reactions and news on the passing of one of Ohio State’s greatest quarterbacks of all time as we try to find some way to come to grips with the most untimely tragedy that occurred over the weekend.
