We’re just a couple of days away from the annual LiFEsports Spring Game and that means the weather must be turning for the better, right? Well, sure, but it’s also a great opportunity to get a look at the Ohio State football team after its offseason slumber since the heartbreaker in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
The spring game means that spring ball is coming to a conclusion, and it’ll be one whale of a way to end it with a packed stadium and a public look at some of the players and coaches that will make up whatever type of run the Buckeyes make in 2023.
Buy Buckeyes TicketsHead coach Ryan Day has been meeting with the local media in Columbus throughout spring ball and did so again one last time to preview what everyone will see Saturday afternoon.
Sure, it’s a glorified scrimmage, but one that many eyeballs will be gazing at not only on the banks of the Olentangy but across the country.
In case you missed any of what Day said, you can catch the whole press conference below thanks to video shared on OhioStateBuckeyes.com. Watch and listen to Day discuss the injury to quarterback Devin Brown, the opportunity for players to show something in a game-type setting, the progress of Kyle McCord, and more.
As a reminder, we’ll have analysis and reaction before, during, and after the spring game so check back often throughout the weekend.
