At least 15 people have died and 90 are believed missing after two separate boat disasters involving migrants in the seas surrounding Greece.A rescue mission was launched late on Wednesday near the island of Kythira, after a sailboat carrying about 100 migrants hit rocks and sank.Officials said 30 people had been rescued in the disaster off the village port of Diakofti on the east of the island, which lies near the southern tip of Greece’s Peloponnese peninsula.Resident Martha Stathaki told how islanders rushed to help.“We could see the boat smashing against the rocks and people climbing up those rocks to try and save themselves,” she said. “It was an unbelievable sight.
