Watch: Ravi Bishnoi knocks over Matthew Short with a wrong 'un during India-Australia first T20I

NEW DELHI: To watch a wrong 'un delivery is a viewer's delight but to face it is certainly a nightmare for any batter across the globe.

Australian opener Matthew Short was one such batter who was at the receiving end when he was beaten all ends up with a gem of a googly delivered by young Indian leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi during the first T20I of the five-match series in Visakhapatnam on Thursday.

The incident happened in the fifth over of the innings when Bishnoi bowled a nicely tossed up googly, and Short tried to go over the mid-wicket but missed it completely as it knocked over his off-stump.

Short, who was looking dangerous, got out after scoring a 11-ball 13 which included three boundaries. Earlier, India skipper Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and put Australia into bat.

Australia rested Glenn Maxwell, Adam Zampa, and Travis Head, all of whom were part of the ODI World Cup-winning side.

India's playing XI included two spinners, Axar Patel and Ravi Bishnoi, with Washington Sundar left out. The pace attack features Arshdeep Singh, Mukesh Kumar, and Prasidh Krishna.
