Rangers look set to bring in a fifth summer signing imminently with the arrival of Malik Tillman from Bayern Munich.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst has been very active in the transfer market of late as he bids to strengthen his squad ahead of their quest to recapture the Premiership crown from rivals Celtic and earn a spot in the Champions League group stages, with two qualifying rounds standing in the way of the Ibrox men. John Souttar was a done deal months ago after penning a pre-contract as he rocked up at Rangers this summer and was followed in the past week or so by Antonio Colak, Tom Lawrence and Rabbi Matondo.
It's reported that USA international Tillman will be the latest recruit to come in the door at Ibrox with a season-long loan deal said to be agreed with the Bundesliga giants for the 20-year-old attacking midfielder. Last season, he featured for the top team at Bayern on seven occasions, picking up minutes in the league, Champions League and in the DFP-Pokal. He gained some valuable experience against the likes of Barcelona and Stuttgart amongst those games and even found the net with a debut strike.
