NEW DELHI: Cometh the hour, cometh Prithvi Shaw. The out-of-favour India opener Shaw, who suffered a bizarre dismissal in his debut outing for Northamptonshire, silenced his critics and slammed a magnificent double century during England's One-Day Cup tournament against Somerset on Wednesday.

Shaw smashed a 153-ball 244 for Northamptonshire. His knock was studded with 28 fours and 11 sixes.
