New England Patriots rookie wide receiver Ja’Lynn Polk scored the first touchdown of his NFL career on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.
The touchdown ended an eight-play, 60-yard drive that took 4:53 off the clock. It was also Patriots quarterback Jacoby Brissett’s first touchdown pass of the year. The score put New England in the driver’s seat of the game right out of the gates with a 7-0 first quarter lead.
Polk was able to slither his way to the back of the end zone for the score on his first catch of the afternoon. Brissett was efficient on the drive, completing all five of his passes and linking up with the rookie in the end.

It’s clear that the Patriots are not going to go away quietly, and they are fully buying into the systems on both sides of the football.
