NEW DELHI: India pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah's unique bowling action has inspired many aspiring cricketers worldwide, including in Pakistan. Due to his unconventional, slingy action and exceptional ability to bowl yorkers, several young bowlers in Pakistan have attempted to replicate his style.
In Pakistan's domestic cricket and street cricket ("tape-ball cricket"), it is common to see young bowlers imitating Bumrah's short run-up and slinging arm action. Many believe it gives them an edge in delivering pace and deception, much like Bumrah.
