WATCH: Ohio State tight end Gee Scott Jr makes homeless man’s day

Some things fly under the radar when they probably shouldn’t. With everything going on in the world today, things that can make you believe in humanity should be celebrated more than what we do.

Take the latest video from Ohio State tight end, Gee Scott, Jr. He has his own YouTube Channel and he just contributed to it for the first time in a while, and for good reason. Scott must have been motivated and touched by an encounter he had with a homeless man in Columbus because he was spurned on to make a video of his interaction with him.

The initial meeting took place prior to the start of the video, but Scott told the man that he’d be back in an hour with a surprise and to meet him at a location. And that’s where the video picks up.

You can follow the rest of the story yourself, but Scott finds the man, has a game of catch with him and even offers to meet him for lunch, pay for a hotel night, and even gives him a significant monetary surprise. Check it all out thanks to Scott’s YouTube channel and share and pass it around so that others might pay it forward.

Well done Scott, well done. Here’s to hoping more acts like yours are shown and shared so that others might take inspiration.
