Thousands of Newcastle United fans have warned they 'won't be home for tea' in a Trafalgar Square takeover ahead of the Carabao Cup final. Magpies supporters have already descended upon the London plaza en-masse ahead of the club's first Wembley final in almost three decades.
In less than 24 hours, Eddie Howe's side will bid to become the first Newcastle side to lift a major domestic honour since 1955. Standing in their way is Manchester United, fresh from besting Barcelona in the Europa League and arguably the in-form side in the Premier League.
However, the task of emerging victorious over Erik ten Hag's side seems to be of little concern to the travelling Toon fans ahead of kick-off. Stunning clips and pictures have already been shared on social media of jubilant supporters making themselves heard in Trafalgar Square.

Newcastle fans indulged in the latest Wembley-themed rendition of Doris Day's classic 'Que Sera Sera', which also rung out at St James' Park following the full-time whistle of the semi-final win over Southampton. Footage below shows the carnival atmosphere building in the capital.
Marcus Rashford has been named in the Red Devils squad ahead of the final, despite concerns over a potential ankle injury. It is unclear at this stage as to whether Joe Willock is in contention to start for Newcastle, having missed the defeat to Liverpool with a hamstring complaint.
