Kane Williamson will captain New Zealand in the upcoming ODI World Cup, scheduled for next month in India. Trent Boult will assume the role of leading the pace attack. However, there's disappointment for opener Finn Allen and fast bowler Adam Milne, who didn't make the cut for the squad.
Boult showcased his prowess with a remarkable performance, taking three wickets in a recent match against England in Southampton. This impressive display secured his spot in the 15-man squad, with Williamson at the helm, despite ongoing concerns about Williamson's knee ligament injury.
