The Miami Dolphins addressed a future need by draft South Carolina cornerback Cam Smith with pick No. 51 on Friday night, their first of the 2023 NFL draft.
Smith may eventually take over for Xavien Howard or Jalen Ramsey as an outside cornerback, but he may be able to take on a slot role sooner depending on how training camp and preseason goes.
