Two cornerbacks were drafted ahead of Nate Wiggins in April’s NFL draft. Still, the Ravens’ rookie cover made the biggest impression on the opening night of the preseason for Baltimore and Philadelphia.
Wiggins started the preseason opener with the bulk of the Ravens’ starters sitting out, and he made a tremendous statement, breaking up two Kenny Pickett passes on the opening drive.

Wiggins is battling Jalyn Armour-Davis and Damarion Williams for snaps, and the opening possession showed his speed, quickness, and big-play potential.
