Michigan State football defeated Maryland on the road in upset fashion on Saturday, securing an upset win over the Terrapins, 27-24. The win by Michigan State came on the leg of Jonathan Kim, who nailed a 37-yard field goal with one second on the clock.
The win, exciting in nature, was the jolt of energy that Jonathan Smith needed as his first Big Ten win in East Lansing.
