We've all seen a dog hanging its head out a car window for a breath of air - but how about an alpaca!?
The bizarre sight of the South American animal peeking its neck out for some sightseeing in Airdrie town centre greeted shoppers, workers, motorists and pedestrians.
Local hair stylist Kirsty Shilliday had to do a "double take" after spotting the alpaca on her way to a doctor’s appointment when she pulled up to the traffic lights on the town’s High Street last Friday.
