Quarterback Matthew Stafford has been under constant pressure from the Dallas Cowboys’ defensive line in Week 5, but made a sweet completion on the Los Angeles Rams’ second offensive drive to keep the ball moving. He connected with first-year Ram Allen Robinson on what looked to be another one of his no-look passes while being tackled in the backfield for what would have been a sack.

Some creativity from Stafford and @AllenRobinson. 💯

This play didn’t end up leading to points later in the drive but was impressive nonetheless. Working with a patchwork offensive line, Stafford has done his best to keep Los Angeles’ offense functioning, with this effort being a hallmark of his exceptional effort.
After fumbling on their first possession, which led to an early six-point deficit, Stafford and the offense have some work to do to get back in the game, but with plenty of time remaining, this game is far from over. A blocked punt after their drive stalled out following this play set Dallas up for a field goal that would extend the Cowboys’ lead to nine points, setting up the Rams’ offense to play with more urgency through the rest of the first half.
