A Kenmore Air seaplane carrying 11 people crashed near Sucia Island in the US state of Washington on Thursday, leaving multiple people injured. All those on board were rescued safely from the water, officials said.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the DeHavilland DHC-3 seaplane crashed at around 5:20 pm local time. Airline operator Kenmore Air said the aircraft had departed from Lake Union in Seattle with 10 passengers and one pilot on board.
